You should have started the blog hop here:
And came to my blog from:
What a month it's been! I have been so busy shopping, working, baking, wrapping presents and making Christmas cards! I haven't even done a layout or PL spread since November 30th! It was great to get craft again for this blog hop! We are here to inspire you today to get in the crafty holiday spirit! My December Daily this year will be in 8 1/2x11 format so I made a fun 8 1/2x11 layout for you!
I used an old 12x12 piece of Pebbles Lakeside red with pink polka dot paper for the background. I cut it down to size and then sewed on a piece of white 8x10 1/2 card stock. While we were at my in-laws early on December I had a chance to play with my camera a while to perfect the bokeh effect on their Christmas tree!
I cut a 9 inch circle from an old 12x12 page protector to make an enormous sequin pocket with the Christmas Wishes Sequin Mix from the shop. I sewed it shut with two passes on my sewing machine.
I used some Heidi Swapp Color Shine in gold and layered on Queen and Co. chipboard stars, hand punched glitter stars, enamel dots, and a few Chic Tags wooden sequins.
Behind my photo I added a Gold Foil Doily and I stapled two Birds Of A Feather felt feathers in white. I also used the "Believe" die from Heidi Swapp for my title.
I hope you all enjoyed my quick and easy holiday layout! Keep on hoppin'! And next up on the hop is Louise Forsyth!
