International Scrapbooking Day Blog Hop

Good morning scrappy friends!  Welcome to the SpiegelMomScraps International Scrapbooking Day Blog Hop!   The Sparklers are here to celebrate today along with the SMS guest designer for March!  Welcome Amy, a.k.a. Sparkly CanadianCraftyGirl!  We are all here to bring you lots of crafty fun and inspiration!

Your entire line up for today's Hop is:

Sarah:  That's me, you're here!

You should have arrived here from Yuliya!  I hope you enjoyed her beautiful post!

For today's Hop I made a fun and easy 8.5x11 layout celebrating Easter!  It finally March and spring will soon be here!  I was feeling very inspired by the new sequin mixes in the shop and I knew that the new Peachy Sherbet Sequins would be a great match to the new Maggie Holmes collection called "Bloom."

I cut two of the patterned 12x12 papers into strips an sewed them to the top and bottom of an 8.5x11 piece of textured white card stock.  I also cut a thin strip of glitter card stock and tucked it between the top layers.

I cut a Large Glassine Bag down to 6.5x6 and filled it with the Peachy Sherbet Sequins and sewed it shut.  I pooped up my 4x6 photo onto foam adhesive dots and layered several pieces of the Maggie Holmes Bloom ephemera next to the picture.

I tucked a White Paper Doily under the picture and added a Chunky Cork Heart and a wood veneer cloud from Chic Tags.

I added a butterfly wood veneer also from Chic Tags and a few enamel dots.  I finished it off with a few splatters of Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Blush, added the date with my roller date stamper from Becky Higgins, and put on the Wildflower chipboard Thicker title.

I hope you are enjoying the International Scrapbooking Day Blog Hop!  Your next stop is Anna!
Be sure to comment on all of the blogs today for a chance to win a $20 certificate to the SMS shop!
