Sparkler Squads Unite August 1st Blog Hop

Greetings and welcome to our Sparklers Squads Unite blog hop! This term The Sparklers are split into two teams; The Blog Squad and the YouTube Squad. Each month we will come together for a fun blog hop to bring you some great tips, techniques and inspiration! For this hop, you should have arrived here from Lisa. I'm sure you enjoyed her fun project! For the hop today I made a super fun Pocket Letter! Here it is:
I started my pocket letter with an old 6x6 pad of paper by Dear Lizzy
from the Fine and Dandy collection.  Then I grabbed a ton of goodies
from the SMS shop and got started!
I cut a bunch of the 6x6 patterned paper down to 2.5x3.5 to fit into the Pocket Page Protectors from the shop.  I filled each pocket with goodies from my stash or from the shop.  Here you can see I tucked in some Shimelle Wood Veneer and a baggie of Love Beats Sequin Mix behind circles that I punched out and adhered to the outside of the pockets!
I made a simple title card using half of a White Paper Lace Doily and a few old Thickers from my stash.  I added a couple of glitter arrow Thickers from the Cedar Lane Collection by Pink Paislee.  I embellished the outside of the pockets with enamel hearts, Kaisercraft gems and miscellaneous bits from my stash.  Here you can see a few fun Studio Calico Wood Veneers peeking out!
I tucked a few Mini Wood Clothespins and Chunky Cork Stars in these two.  Then I added a Dear Lizzy Happy Place Die Cut Phrase.  I added similar embellishments to the other pockets.

My last pocket has some acrylic pieces from Pink Paislee C'est La Vie in it and I embellished it with a glitter heart, a gem and a button from Basic Grey Saturday Morning.  I can't wait to mail this lovely off to a member on SMS Facebook page "15 Minutes To Scrap!"
I hope you enjoyed my quick and fun pocket letter project!  Look for more happy mail and pocket life ideas from me on the SMS blog and don't forget to tune into the SMS channel on Youtube to find my "Shake It Sunday" videos on the last Sunday of the month!
