Welcome back to another SpiegelMom Scraps Blog Hop!  We are coming together to bring you fun and inspiring projects to kick start your spring scrapping!  Don't forget to comment on all of the posts for a chance at a $10 SMS shop credit!  You should have arrived here from Christy's blog, I'm sure you loved her amazing layout!

For today's hop I made a fun 8.5x11 layout using the new Oh My Heart collection from Paige Evans. Here it is:

I started with a 12x12 piece of Textured White American Crafts Card Stock and cut it down to 8.5x11.  I also printed out two 3x4 pictures of my youngest daughter reading to me.  I grabbed a bunch of goodies from the SMS shop along with my new Oh My Heart stuff, and got started!

I made my shaker element by gluing a vellum circle onto a wood veneer embroidery hoop.  I used AC Red Tape to adhere it to the paper after I filled the void with some of the beautiful Pandora's Ombre Sequin Mix.  I embellished with ephemera flowers and chipboard flowers.

I tucked a White Lace Paper Doily under my photos.  Then I created an embellishment cluster using chipboard books, a wood veneer circle and a heart charm.  I carefully strung embroidery thread thru the charm and made a bow.

I used a word Thicker from Shimelle Little By Little and added the aqua ombre Thickers for my title.  I stamped the date on using my Pebbles roller date stamper.  I embellished with a puffy bird sticker and a button from Crate Paper Oasis.

Finally, I gave it a splatter of Heidi Shine in Black and added a few enamel dots from Pinkfresh Studios and some gems from Kaistercraft.  I also used some Tombow Mono Aqua adhesive to glue a few of the flower sequins from Pandora's Ombre Sequin Mix to the outside of the vellum circle!

I hope you have enjoyed this blog hop today!  Next you are off to Hanna's blog!

Spiegelmom Scraps & Creative Embellishments Blog Hop!

Happy March everyone!  Welcome to the Spiegelmom Scraps & Creative Embellishments Blog Hop!  The Sparklers and I have created a ton of fun projects for you using goodies from the SMS shop AND from Creative Embellishments!  You should have arrived here from Maggie's blog!  I'm sure you enjoyed her layout!  Remember, if you get lost along the hop or want to find out all about the exciting prizes for the hop, head back to Spiegelmom Scraps blog!

For today I created an 8.5x11 layout using scraps from my stash, new goodies from SMS and a gorgeous dragonfly laser cut chipboard from Creative Embellishments!  Here it is:

I started with a piece of 12x12 American Crafts textured white card stock.  I cut it down to 8.5x11.  I  printed out a 3x4 picture of my youngest daughter at her sixth birthday and got started!

I stared by creating my background.  I used a light purple Gelato and three different Shimmerz Creameez in Piggy Pink, Refresh Mint and Get Glowing.  I used the packaging technique with the purple Gelato and made big splatters with the Creameez.  I then added Sea U In The Morning' Dazzlers with a putty knife and a Heidi Swapp stencil.

After my background dried, I layered different colored papers behind my photo.  I also added a white lace paper doily.  I filled a small glassine bag full of the new Spring Fever sequin mix and sewed it shut with my sewing machine.  I tucked it behind my photo.

I added my title using Page Evans word Thickers and some old Dear Lizzy enamel Thickers.  I stamped the date on with my Pebbles roller date stamper.  Then I added a few enamel dots and Kaisercraft gems.

I used Tombow Mono Multi Adhesive to adhere the amazing Flourish Dragonflies from Creative Embellishments!  I love the look of the raw chipboard, but they can also be painted, stained, inked, embossed and so much more!  The possibilities are endless!

I finished my layout with a quick boarder on the top edge and a small embellishment cluster.  I used my WRMK tab punch to make a glitter tab and added a small gold paper clip and a tassel from Maggie Holmes Gather.  I placed a tiny word sticker from the reset Girl and a gold conversation heart from Cute Girl.

I hope you have enjoyed my project for the hop!  Next you are headed off to Sarah's blog!  Don't forget to comment on all of the blogs for a chance at a $25 SMS and a $30 CE shop credit!!!

Accent Scrapbooking Team up & Product Swap Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the Accent Scrapbooking Team Up & Product Swap Hop!  This month the Sparklers and I got to use a bunch of fun flairs from Accent Scrapbooking!  You should have arrived here form Christy's blog.  I'm sure you enjoyed her layout!  For this hop selected a sketch from Laura Whitaker and got crafty!  Here is the sketch we used:

I am still working on getting all of my pictures from last summer scrapped, so I grabbed my leftover summer papers and embellishments and, of course, a bunch of goodies from the SMS shop and got going!  Here is my layout:

I had leftovers from Amy Tan and Dear Lizzy's summer collections that I wanted to get used up.  I started with a 12x12 piece of Textured White Cardstock from American Crafts and cut it down to 8.5x11.  I added strips of patterned paper at the top and bottom and sewed them on with gold thread using my sewing machine.

I printed a 4x4 of my daughters at the local splash pad.  I layered a White Paper Lace Doily behind it along with a few pieces of ephemera.  I tucked a Cork Confetti Butterfly and a Cloudy Days Feltie in also.

Following the sketch, I created an embellishment cluster near the bottom of the page using a wood veneer ampersand, a brad from Dear Lizzy and a few enamel dots from my stash.  I also gave the layout a good splatter of Heidi Shine in Gold and Shimmerz Inklingz in Piggy Pink.

I filled a Small Glassine bag with some of the new Pocket Full of Posies Sequin Mix, sewed it shut and tucked it behind my picture.  I added the gold mirrored title from My Mind's Eye.  I also strung two tassels from Maggie Holmes Gather collection on some white thread and added a few of the Pocket Full of Posies loose sequins.  And finally, I added the gorgeous "Happy Moment" flair from Accent Scrapbooking!

I hope you enjoyed my layout for todays hop!  I had so much fun creating it for you!  Now you are headed over to Hanna's blog!

Hello crafty people!  The Sparklers are teaming up for a very special blog hop today!  We are so excited to announce our product swap with the fabulous flair shop, Cuts2luv!  We have been planning this for a long time and here it is!  Caroline from Cuts2Luv is awesome and you can check out her shop HERE.

You should have arrived here from Sandra's blog, I'm sure you enjoyed her amazing project!

Today I am sharing a fun 8.5x11 layout that I created using a cut file, some of my leftover December Daily stash and a few flairs from Cuts2Luv!  Here it is:

I started with a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and embellished with ephemera from Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa and from the Hip Kit Club November kits.  I used the American Crafts Texture White Card Stock from the shop to cut the file out.  I adhered it down with my ER Runner Grand.  I stitched the title on using gold thread in my sewing machine.

I filled a Small Glassine Bag with the gorgeous Build A Snowman sequin mix and sewed it shut with my sewing machine.  I added my photo on top and tucked a puffy sticker and a glitter snowflake sticker behind it.  I also added the beautiful snowflake flair from Cuts2Luv on top of the photo.

Stamped the date on with my Becky Higgins Roller Date Stamper and added a few splats of Heidi Shine in Black and Gold.  I fussy cut a few trees from a patterned paper from Snow and Cocoa. I  also used some Tombow Mono Multi Adhesive to glue on a couple of acrylic stars from Colorcast Designs.

I made a fun embellishment cluster using a glitter snowflake, a snowflake paper die cut and another one of the the incredible flairs from Cuts2Luv.  Here, I embellished with a glitter enamel dot, a Kaisercraft gem and a chipboard star.

I made one last cluster similar to the one on the bottom of the layout and embellished it in a similar fashion.  I used foam dots to make the little Christmas tree stand out.

To find the SMS products I used on my layout and to get some free cut files head over to the SMS shop HERE!

December 1st Sparklers Squads Unite Blog Hop!

Happy December everyone and welcome to another Sparklers Squads Unite blog hop!  Today the Sparklers and I will be bringing you lots of December inspiration featuring the new sequin mixes in the shop!  There are also new cut files so check those out too!  Remember to comment on all of the posts for a chance to win a $10 shop credit!  You should have arrived here from Christy's blog, I'm sure you enjoyed her fun layout!  Here is my layout for the hop today!

I started with a Christmas tree cut file from The Cut Shoppe.  I used a piece of Maggie Homes Bloom paper.  I cut it out twice, using one as a backing for the tree.  I then I cut the second into scalloped pieces.  I adhered the pieces using my EZ Runner Grand.  Using the rest of the paper that I cut the tree from, I fringe cut pieces and sewed them on with my sewing machine.

I then used the same gold thread from my sewing machine to string this new sequin mix from the SMS shop!  I carefully glued each sequin down to mimic Christmas lights.

I made little presents with scrap paper from Pink Paislee Bella Rouge and Basic Grey Juniper Berry.  I tied a bit of bakers twine around them and even tucked a gorgeous Pink Felt Fetti Heart into one!  I placed a gold mirrored present from Pinkfresh Studios Oh Joy on top.

I used one of the new 8" Chantilly Lace Doilies from the shop to place my 5x7 photo on.  I also filled a Medium Glassine Bag with the same new sequin mix from the shop and sewed it shut with my sewing machine and tucked it next to my photo.

I added some Heidi Shine in Teal, Pink and Gold.  I embellished with enamel dots and shapes and a few Kaisercraft gems.  I added a Freckled Fawn glitter star and a mirrored star from Pinkfresh Studios Oh Joy.

I made a couple more little presents to tuck in next to my photo.  I added my title using the word Thickers from Maggie Homes Shine and the gold glitter alphas from Maggie Homes Bloom.  I also used a bow paperclip from Crate Paper Cute Girl.

I topped my tree off with a large gold star from American Crafts and added the date using my Becky Higgins roller date stamper!

I hope you have enjoyed my fun layout and you have seen how you do not need to use Christmas specific items to create a Christmas themed layout!  Next you are off to Hannah's blog!
